DC Zoo

 Yesterday Bryan and I, along with the girls and Autumn and Heidi went to DC for the day to visit the zoo. I remember going to the zoo as a child, but don't think I've been back since.

 The girls loved all the animals.

It was a beautiful day and we all had a wonderful time!!

Alisha Loves.............

We love Alisha and Alisha loves..........motorcycles (and us)! :) Alisha was home recently for a few days and we loved our time with her. Alisha has always loved motorcycles and I am beginning to love them too. We bought a motorcycle a few months ago and we try to go for short rides every so often. Bryan was sure to take her for a ride when she was here. I think they had a wonderful time. We miss you already, Alisha.

First Fire

 We decided it was a great evening for a fire. This was the first fire of the season, but I'm sure there will be plenty more to come.

 We made smores!!

 Then the girls enjoyed running and chasing each other!!

Kaleigh's Accomplishment

Kaleigh has been begging Bryan to take the training wheels off her bike and on Sunday he finally did. She is very motivated and it only took two days for her to catch on and keep her balance. At my parents she's been practicing her balance by riding with the pedals off on one of the bikes at their house and has a lot of fun.

It wouldn't be complete without several tumbles. We cheered her on even when she fell. We told her "That was a GREAT fall!!" :)

Kaleigh can go in a straight line and can ride in big circles to the left, but she still needs to work on her balance riding in circles to the right.

I think it was a success!! Giving us thumbs up!!

Easter Egg Hunt

This morning my mom met us for an egg hunt in New Market. I've never taken the girls somewhere for an Easter Egg Hunt, but I thought they'd enjoy it. They had an area for kids under the age of 5 to look for eggs which was nice so the girls weren't looking with other boys and girls who were much older. Kaleigh and Cassidy walked and only found a few eggs, but still enjoyed opening up each egg to see what the prize was inside.

All morning I had asked them if they wanted to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and I had no takers. There was another family there that I knew and at the end when we were leaving offered take a picture of all of us (meaning mom, the girls and myself). The Easter Bunny just happened :) to be right behind us.

We had a fun time!!

Everywhere

I have been finding Abby in just about every place she shouldn't be. She climbs in our lower cabinets, the bottom shelf in our pantry, on our chairs and high stools. The other day I found that she had pulled out the drawer on the train set and was sitting in it. She is something else!!

She always has a smile on her face when she's found.

I came out into the living room and this is what I found. Cassidy had placed different dolls and animals on pillows in a circle and was watching tv!! She is so sweet!!
