Last Two Months

We have been very busy over the past two months. We finally moved into our home, welcomed our second child and have been busy with other activities and visiting with family and friends!!

In late May we finally finished everything and were able to move into our house. I couldn't have been more excited as I pushed to get everything done before the birth of our daughter. Bryan had been working hard on getting the last things done and I am thankful for all that he has done!! Bryan has taken a month off and has been doing some projects as well. He recently finished the landscaping so I thought I would add a side view of our house with the finishing touches!! :)

On June 3rd, we welcomed our second child Cassidy Faith. We had been patiently awaiting her arrival and she was eager to meet us!! My water broke at 11 pm and she was born at 12:51 am. We are loving every minute!!

June 3rd is not only a special day because of it being Cassidy's birthday, we now share our anniversary with her birthday. Bryan and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on this same day. Although we were not able to go out, Mom brought us lunch in!! :)


We ventured back to Lost River State Park for an afternoon drive last week. Kaleigh enjoyed playing on the slide and going down to the stream. I'm sure we will be going back again!!

Bryan's Toy-New Camera

Bryan has been looking at getting a new camera. One with a shutter so that he can take multiple pictures right after another. It arrived about two weeks ago so he has enjoyed "playing" with it. It is his new toy!! :) Anyway, we had fun taking some pictures of Kaleigh one afternoon and wanted to post a few. She looks so grown up and has changed so much over the past few months. Soon she will be a big sister and won't be my "baby" anymore.

Hair Cut

I have been wanting to have mom trim Kaleigh's hair to even up the hair in the back and her bangs. This weekend before giving her a bath mom was able to do that. I didn't know if she would squirm or sit still. We set her in the sink and gave her a tooth brush which occupied her the whole time. 

29 weeks and bubbles

My pregnancy continues to go well. I am 29 weeks and have begun to see the midwives every two weeks.

Kaleigh also enjoyed having Grandma blow some bubbles inside the house. We are ready for some warm weather to come and stay to be able to play outside!!

Kaleigh and the park!

Last weekend was beautiful so mom and I took Kaleigh to the park. Mom was back helping to do some cleaning at our house and before she left we went to the Bergton Community Center. This was the first time I had been over to the playground. It is geared for older kids, but Kaleigh still loved going down the slide, swinging and climbing. I took her back the next day and she about jumped out of her car seat when we pulled up. I'm sure we will make many more trips there.

Swimming

Although the weather outside was in the 30's, we enjoyed some extra warm water in the swimming pool at the Wellness Center. Autumn has a member ship there and yesterday mom, Kaleigh and I joined Autumn and the kids to go swimming. On Saturday's from 12-3 they have a family swim time when you can bring two guests along with you. Yesterday was the first day we went, but we are looking forward in joining them again. We absolutely loved it!!
