Easter

We had a nice Easter meal at Mom and Dad's and the kids enjoyed an easter egg hunt. They had dyed eggs earlier on in the week so we hid those and some others for them to find. We (the adults) even had a nice surprise in an egg hidden for us!! :) Thanks mom and dad!!

Beautiful Evening

This evening Bryan's parents invited us down for supper. The weather was so nice that Bryan and Kaleigh walked down. Kaleigh would live outside I think if we let her. Bryan's parents have three motorized jeeps for the girls and although Kaleigh does not know how to drive the jeep she will lay on the pedal and go!! Bryan got one of the jeeps out for her to ride this evening! She had so much fun. We are all looking forward to warmer weather and being able to spend more time outside!!

This picture was taken in the fall when Kaleigh first got the jeep. There are two different speeds and here she is in high speed. We really had to watch her because she would look at us when she was driving and had no concept of how to steer.

Finger Painting

I have been wanting to get finger paint for Kaleigh so Bryan and I finally picked some up this weekend when we were out. Kaleigh had a wonderful time enjoying it and so did Cassidy.

Bryan put some on her nose and then she wanted it all over her arms and face.

When I'm making supper, Kaleigh is often standing on a chair beside me helping me do anything she possibly can. Cassidy enjoys being in the kitchen with us and loves playing with spoons, bowls and pots!!

Keeping up with Cassidy

Cassidy has been crawling for the past few weeks and keeping us on our toes. She still loves to be held, but is very content on the flooring exploring new things. I am looking forward to when Cassidy is walking so that Kaleigh and her can interact even more. Cassidy pulls herself up on anything she can get her hands on. Cassidy is also much more vocal then Kaleigh was at this age. Sisterly Love

Catching Up-Kaleigh's Birthday!!

Kaleigh turned two on January 11th. We had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday with our family!!

My mom made Kaleigh this pillow for her birthday. It has butterflies and a flower with her name stitched at the bottom. It turned out beautiful!!

Snow

Last weekend we got more than 20 inches of snow!! I don't remember the last time I've seen that much. Kaleigh couldn't even walk in the snow it was so high, but she still ventured out with Bryan. It was a good thing I didn't have to go anywhere. I stayed in until Tuesday when I headed out to take Cassidy for her six month check up. Here is a picture of our home in the midst of all the snow!!
